Geert-Jan Maillé 1974, born Dutch and raised in middle of nature. After a combined study, one of art and and one of economics, and working for several companies in furniture & design, we are now living in Belgium since 2000, and since 2011 in the french speaking part, in the beautiful hills of the Belgium-Ardennes.

In Stoumont we are running a nice B&B/holiday-house in a historic and renovated farm, “La Vie, Sur les Champs”.  All hand in hand with my own interior design & art studio/art gallery “Maison Maillé”. I make free work and works on commission, interior- and furniture-design for individuals and companies.

In both my disciplines, purity, atmosphere, real materials, and the natural world are often the source of inspiration. Not seeking for the perfect-picture, but creating objects or spaces with “real-life” in it.
